Day 17 of 365 days of adventure - friends

Sometimes we have someone in our life that truly makes a difference. Over 10 years ago Karen hired me on to be a contract trainer for GM. Although I did not have the experience needed for the job she gave me a chance to come on board. That opportunity turned into a long standing friendship that I cherish to this day. Every couple of Months Karen and I get back together to catch up on old times. Sometimes it is nice to sit back and reflect on all of the changes in my life and all of the new discoveries to come.

I am still working on my daily commitment factor! So far I failed to keep up with the blog or daily pictures and I have totally fallen off of my diet!!! Time to regroup and refocus.

Fail to plan and you plan to fail.

I have learned that I am incredibly productive when I have a set schedule, time constraints or deadlines. On the flip side I can waist time better than anyone I know when I don't have somewhere I need to go or something that has to be done. So I am working on a new plan, a new structure that will help me stay on task. The blog and adventures in this blog are a part of the plan.

I resolve to do three things starting tomorrow:
1) Continue updating blog daily
2) Plan food, exercise and daily activities
3) Have fun!

What up Kim!?!?

Stumbled on your blog! Just wanted to say hey. I fell off my diet too! Why does food have to be so good?

Well... I'm committed to the 2011 Safari with another friend of mine. My old partner is doing it with his dad and my parents are doing it together too!

Any Race plans?

Hope to see you around!
