Day 11 of 365 days of adventure - CPR

Today I had the opportunity to share life saving information with a group of young parents. We taught 33 young adults how to do a scene size up, initial assessment, and rescue breathing. Tomorrow we will complete training on CPR and AED for the professional rescuer. It feels good knowing that we are imparting information to individuals that could save a life. The students in the class were very attentive today and they asked a lot of questions to ensure their understanding. It was apparent that they knew the importance of properly learning the skills and applying them to help save a life. We operate under the American Red Cross of Central Texas and it is wonderful to have such great curriculum to work with. I am so blessed to work with Kimery and The Expedition School and to have the opportunity to continually grow and learn!
