Day 13 of 365 days of Adventure - Paddling adventures

The day started with a meeting at TPWD talking about paddling. This meeting brought together many of the key players in Texas in regards to recreation and sport paddling. The intent was to introduce paddling instructors, educators and water and boat safety practitioners in order to better align resources. We have instructors but are often missing the needed participants while school programs often have students who need to get on the water but are lacking skilled instructors. It is great to be part of meetings like this that are focused on getting students and community members on the water.
